Tell us how you first met? Who what when where why? Give us the dirty details. 

A work friend of mine (Pamela) was married to someone who worked with Christopher and she insisted that we meet each other.

When did you know he / she was the one? Was there something he / she did?

I always felt more relaxed and comfortable when Chris was around. I always felt happier when he was around. After we went on vacation together and spent every day and night together for a week I starting thinking about him as a person I could spend my life with.

What is the most memorable date you’ve ever had?

I went to my first ever Royals game with Chris.

Tell us about the proposal (did you see it coming, how long was it in the planning? How did you feel? Nervous, excited, freaking out?)

Pamela: Chris planned for us to go to Lawrence and spend the night at the Oread. The weather was really cold, temperatures in the single digits. After dinner Chris wanted to go out for a drive, he first stopped at the Danforth Chapel, but it was locked. So he drove over to the campanile and we walked over to it, once we were inside he dropped to one knee and proposed. I knew he was probably up to something that night, but I didn’t expect it during the drive, by the time we were driving over to the campanile when it was freezing, I knew what he was going to do. What I really remember about the moment was being extremely cold.

 Tell us the one thing you love most about each other.

I love how generous Chris is. He’s always thinking of little nice things to do for people to brighten their day or make them smile.
