Quidditch Border Showdown: Kansas vs Missouri

September 18, 2011

Today was the  Quidditch Border Showdown between the University of Kansas and the University of Missouri. Over 30 members from each side met up on the Robinson field. Kansas Quidditch took the lead early setting the tone for the afternoon and winning the first two games 140-40 and 80-40. Missouri walked away with their first intercollegiate victory winning the final game of the afternoon 90-60. Granville Hare, playing keeper, came out in his first match ever scoring 30 points, 20 of which came off two steals from the back field and scored on the fast break. The Kansas defense kept the Tigers at bay during the first game with strong field position and maintained their advantage through the next two games. All in all, it was a fun day of nerdiness and the continuation of another friend rivalry.
