Tell us how you first met? Who what when where why? Give us the dirty details.

We went to school together all through grade school and high school and I had my eye on him since first grade.  I used to ask him out on yahoo messenger or have my sister call him and ask him out for me.  He was a little scared of girls! We started “dating” in 5th grade.

When did you know he / she was the one? Was there something he / she did?

I knew for sure our junior year of high school that he was the one, but I dreamt of marrying him from first grade.  He gave me a promise ring our junior year so I knew he was serious too.

Tell us about the proposal (did you see it coming, how long was it in the planning? How did you feel? Nervous, excited, freaking out?)

I knew the proposal would be coming somewhat soon but I was not expecting it the day we went coyote hunting bundled up in our camouflage hoodies.  After coyote hunting, we went to check some “traps” and he made me go first so I was terrified I was going to step in a trap, and needless to say, I was not very cooperative!  Eventually he covered my eyes, and I could hear “Marry Me” by Train playing in the background so then I knew! I was so excited and started crying when he got down on one knee in a cove of cedars decorated with burlap bows, a single ornament, candles, and flower petals.  It was perfect and his sister was there to capture it all!

Tell us the one thing you love most about each other.

What I love most about Clinton is his attitude about life, he has no regrets and lives life to the fullest.  I have so much fun with him!

What inspired your décor or theme?

I am farm girl, and I just really like the rustic, country theme.

What’s one thing you wish you would have known earlier in regards to planning?

Don’t save everything for the last minute, if you have a long engagement, get small chunks done every month so you won’t stress so much at the end!
